![]() ![]() And like all word puzzles in the series, this tripped me the hell up when I first played it. This guy offers this mnemonic as our only clue. Due to the security emergency, the door's locked and requires a password. That can only mean one thing!Īnd now, a pointless word puzzle. No, it isn't rough seas, this is a luxury cruise liner after all and the skies are clear on top of that. Unfortunately, the fight is interrupted before it can even begin by the ship shaking back and forth. ![]() No, I'm not kidding.Īnd I realize that by mentioning that, I've spoiled who our next teammate is, but come the hell on, he's the only other character on the ship with a unique sprite, any idiot could have guessed. However, his Team ProtoMan counterpart has the distinction of having unquestionably the stupidest name in the whole series. Yes, this is a silly Native American stereotype character. Strong, fond of battle, makes fun of everyone else? People like that are just the best. Have we mentioned he's Native Netopian? Oh well, his personality is agreeable enough. It can buy you a shitload of awesome chips and Navi customization options though, so given the resources, yeah, rich people just suck at NetBattling. Money can't buy you happiness, and in MMBN, it can't buy you victory either. Meanwhile, Native American (Netopian?) NPC guy has beaten the wealthy NPC into the floor. Oh sure, richy-rich folk can't spare more than pocket change, can they? And no, I'm not even going to bother showing where the stamps are, you have 3 fucking screens to search and you even get obvious hints. Oh a much smaller ship, mind you, but it's tradition. This generic old man sprite being used for the captain of the ship even gets a justification. Much like the Airplane from MMBN2, the NPCs on board the ship are given a bit more characterization. Which doesn't mean we can't bug the NPCs anyway! Yai and Glide have set the precedent for how effective wealthy operators and Navis are. Oh well, the game's stuffed full of game-breakers already, screw the Chip Trader.įirst order of business! I'm flying, Colonel, I'm flying!Īnyway, to familiarize ourselves with the ship and pass time, there's a stamp hunt.īehind this guy, note the custom sprite NPC, there's also a NetBattle matchup available, but it's currently in use, so stamp collecting we go. So save-scumming the Chip Trader is out of the question because it would take way too fucking long. This isn't the emulator, I recall being very annoyed with the time it took to save whenever I did when I played it on the DS. Contrast that with the nearly instant saves of the GBA games. I honestly can't imagine why, considering that this game is pretty much just a port of both versions of MMBN5 with a few extra features slapped in, but saving in DTDS takes around 15 seconds or so. However, the auto-save function of Chip Traders makes this impractical for DTDS. There's a Chip Trader Special over here, and normally this would result in a bonanza of save-state abuse. This is like some buddy-cop show, with the grizzled Colonel being exasperated with the overenthusiastic incompetence of his rookie partner. Lan probably thinks highly of Colonel for obvious reasons. This conversation is word-for-word identical in Team ProtoMan version, I think. This way we can catch him in the act and have harder evidence, after all. Colonel's advice whizzes straight over Lan's head. The inherent humor of pairing the stern, pragmatic Colonel with the idiotic Lan rears its head. After all, he hasn't done anything yet, and since the ship has left port, it's not like the agent will be going anywhere soon. Well, that was quick, let's go apprehend the Nebula agent! Well, no. ![]() For crying out loud, the Nebula agent HISSES.Īs if you needed it drilled in, even Lan catches on. Right on cue, this guy is rebuffed from entering the engine room, the NPC saying that it's off-limits to passengers. This isn't a pleasure trip though, we're here to investigate possible Nebula activity. And Recurring Fat Guy shows up for no particular reason, his father apparently brought him along. And this is fair warning, you won't have any access to the internet on board the ship and can't leave until the scenario wraps up.Īs one would expect, the ship is as luxurious as possible. It's a good thing she doesn't know what about happened to MegaMan. Her linguistic skills are already corroding, and she's hallucinating the presence of her husband. Staring emptily at the inactive TV, Haruka begins showing signs of encroaching insanity. Not like Lan has any experience with hanging out with rich people, right? ![]()

![]() ![]() Initially just lay them down and step back to take in the whole layout of the pages. This is where you can play with arrangement. Trust me, the creativity will abound! Anyway, take your pictures and just lay them onto the 2-12x12 pieces. You’ll feel that you can cut apart different pieces of papers and then glue them back together to add interest. Just a note, as you get more and more into scrapbooking you will get more creative with your page backgrounds. Next, you will be placing your framed out photos onto the pattern paper. Once you have everything cut to size, glue the picture to the solid paper frame! Using a straight paper trimmer works great with this process. (4.5圆.5 inch) Whichever is fine, I do both. You can either cut the picture down a ½ inch on 2 sides OR you can cut the frame out ½ inch bigger than your photo. Afterall, your photos are telling the story you are wanting to tell through your art on the page! There are a couple ways you can easily frame out your photos. This makes the pictures pop off the page and draws the eye to what you are really wanting to share. I use the solid color pieces to frame out my pictures. I strongly feel that most of your photos need to have a “frame” around them. (We will use 3 on one page and 4 on the other page) I’m sure you are scrapping 4圆 photos, so let’s say you chose 7 pictures. ( Paper packs usually have multiples of the same patterns in each pack) and then pick out a couple solid color pieces that compliment your pattern. Alright, I usually try to make a double page layout (2-12x12 pieces of paper) so you will need to pick 2 theme pieces of paper. Are your pictures all in focus? If not put those to the side for now, chances are they won’t be used. How many pictures do you have in your group? Take a close look and make sure there aren’t areas that need trimmed out. ![]() Let’s get you started making pages! Grab a group of your pictures. Now that you have your supplies in check. Between the packs you could scrap a whole stuffed scrapbook and then some! Don’t forget to grab your acid free glue and a sticker pack or two too. While you are there, pick up a paper pack of solid colors too. Ah, heaven! But for someone that is beginning on this journey I would start with getting a paper pack that compliments the theme you are going to scrapbook. Okay! You’re at your new favorite scrapbooking store and are staring down the isle of glorious pattern paper. Perfect! Let’s go shopping! (My favorite) Before you go, check out my list of starter scrapbook supplies. ![]() Do you have a birthday group? How about a holiday like Christmas? Or, you just really like the pictures and think something colorful would be awesome. Try not to stress, I’ve got you! Step back and look at the groups of pictures you have set out. Let’s talk about THEME! Goodness gracious the possibilities are endless for themes. Now that you know the album size, and you have your pictures. Mostly because I like adding special touches to my pages and need the extra real-estate. I wouldn’t recommend making anything smaller than a 6圆. ![]() This way you are able to group more pictures together on one page and still be able to add fun embellishments for added dimension! Otherwise, scrapbooks come in 8.5x11, 8x8, and 6圆 albums. I would suggest if you have a ton of pictures, you should do a 12x12 book. This will be a good indicator for the size of scrapbook album you should probably buy. Got your pictures together? Great! Now, look at how MANY pictures you want to scrapbook. Go ahead! I’ll still be here when you get back! First and foremost: What you are wanting to scrapbook? You will need to go get your pictures together and group them into however you want them to be grouped. ![]() ![]() Vulnerable to Sustained High Damage Attacks & Pierce Invulnerability As supports rarely equip Starting NP Gauge CEs, he may need a few turns to charge his first NP, but afterwards the party will consistently receive an influx of Healing, NP charge, and critical stars every turn. While most Servants experience periods of downtime, Merlin’s high NP gain (including passive NP gain per turn) and five turn NP duration mean that his NP has a very high uptime once he gets going. The same skill also applies a hefty Critical Chance debuff on enemies, further augmenting the party’s survivability. But the biggest tool in Merlin’s defensive arsenal is arguably Illusion's party-wide Invincibility which allows any party to easily brush off enemy NP turns. Merlin provides stable healing via his spammable NP’s Healing per Turn buff and Hero Creation’s MAX HP Increase. One of the reasons as to why Merlin is exceptional is that he provides the means for (Buster) teams to survive longer battles and gain NP gauge. These factors allow any Master to use critical-based strategies to great effect, even with Servants who are not traditionally critical damage dealers. Furthermore, Merlin’s Hero Creation also contains a huge Critical Damage Up buff (although it only lasts for one turn), which synergizes greatly with his star generation capability. Their high values crown him as the best Buster damage support. ![]() When used alongside a Buster Servant, Merlin provides at minimum two offensive buffs, namely, Dreamlike Charisma’s party-wide ATK Up buff and Hero Creation’s targetable Buster Performance Up buff. Merlin's Round Table Discussion Strengths Befitting his lore, he is one who can be expected to stick around until the end of the universe. The Magus of Flowers is easily one of the most powerful Support Servants to have ever been released in the game. His few flaws are rather trivial compared to the massive benefits he brings to a team. Overall, Merlin is the ideal support for Challenge Quests, especially for Buster teams. Lastly, Merlin’s effectiveness in non-Buster teams is a bit reduced, but still good. The resulting ramp-up time, as well as his instant NP charge being “only” 20%, makes him less convenient in the stages where his magnificent damage buffs are overkill and farming/clear speed are more important. ![]() Many of his features are also tied to his NP, most notably the NP Charge per turn and the Healing per turn. The biggest flaw in his kit is the lack of DEF Up buffs, which can make his team particularly vulnerable to bosses that can pierce Invincibility, and enemies who do high damage with their basic attacks. Merlin’s performance is thus spectacular during Challenge Quests.Īs with every Servant though, Merlin does have a few weaknesses in practice. What truly sets Merlin apart from other supports is that he can also grant sustain and support through party-wide Healing per turn, NP Charge per turn and Critical Star Generation per turn from his NP, as well as an NP Charge, Star Generation and even party-wide Invincibility from his skills. Bringing nearly every single offensive buff a Buster Servant could ask for ( Buster Up, ATK Up, and Critical Damage Up), Merlin is a one-man support army who takes full advantage of multiplicative buff stacking. ![]() ![]() The Magus of Flowers allows virtually any Buster-oriented damage dealer to reach their true potential, enabling even the more utility-oriented ones to put out strong damage. “Why don’t I just use an incantation, you ask? Well, I mean, isn’t it easier to just punch them?”Īn immortal magus, Fou’s part-time punching bag, and possibly the most prominent kingmaker in history, Merlin’s capabilities as a Servant far exceed even his own lofty reputation. ![]() ![]() ![]() The nose was large and bulbous and the eyes were rather deep set. ![]() The face was partially covered by a long salt and pepper beard and on top of the head was a long, red pointed hat. The figure was about two to three feet in height, wore black baggy pants and a gold colored shirt. Looking in the direction of the noise Tammy noticed about 50 yards from her a small humanoid looking figure. Thinking nothing of it she picked up a grocery bag and noticed it again, this time accompanied by what she described as a "very freaky, very evil sounding chuckle". One night Tammy and her son were coming back from grocery shopping when, as she parked the car and got out, noticed movement to her right. For some reason most of the animals on the farm seemed to avoid the rickety old building and soon she noticed that the number of her ducks and chickens had started to dwindle, but couldn't figure out why. Soon after moving in Tammy started feeling like something was watching them and had an uneasy feeling ever time she walked by the old barn. The first incident occurred when a woman by the name of Tammy moved herself and her three children into a small farmhouse on the Tule River near Porterville. So imagine my surprise (and a bit of shock) when I came across a story of a supposedly evil gnome that was terrorizing a farm house near Porterville. I love strange creature stories and am always lamenting the fact that the Central Valley is lacking in them (unless you want to count the numerous sighting of dogs with mange being reported as Chupacabras). ![]() ![]() ![]() IMHO, this idea of a gear routing brain – as well as a synth language – fits well with handmade instruments, pedals, custom cases, etc. But I am totally enthralled with everything now. I didn’t really go in with any of this in mind. Now I like the idea of having things broken out, and Audulus seems to play a super fun role of being a master routing brain. I also got excited about being fully self sufficient, portable and off-grid.Īs I started to use Audulus more, I stopped bothering with a DAW and stopped being interested in iOS apps. I stopped arranging in Ableton because the quality of the AUv3’s at the price point for iPad is amazing. I like the fact that BM3 has Ableton Link, and that it hosts AUv3’s. ![]() With the setup I have going, the ideal Audulus would be able to handle MIDI in and out. Let me know if you have any questions below, and thanks for your patience!įor me, I am most interested in CPU consumption. We think you deserve tools that work perfectly and have the most features as they can right from the start, and that’s why we really need to push AUv3 to Audulus 4.Īnd don’t worry - it will be in the initial 4.0 version! This isn’t vaporware - we currently have it running on our iOS devices, and it works, but it’s missing features and has some bugs that need to be worked out. It’s so valuable to have your input, and so many of the modules in the released version of Audulus and the upcoming reface are really a collaborative effort with all of you. We’re so thankful and proud of the usergroup we’ve developed here at the forum. ![]() There will be so many new features to Audulus 4 that even if we released AUv3 for Audulus 3, you’d still want to buy 4 (if just for the MIDI out alone). The longer we work on improving 3, the longer 4 is delayed. The fact is though, it’s time to switch gears to work on Audulus 4. Since the initial release of Audulus 3, we’ve delivered many new features that users have wanted, including multichannel audio, SVG support, a huge library of modules ( not to mention the new redesign still forthcoming), and more. I know this must be disappointing to people who were hoping to see it in Audulus 3, and I know the more cynical response might be that we’re delaying it to incentivize people to buy Audulus 4 instead, but that is simply not true.Īudulus 3 has gotten more and more significant updates than pretty much any music app out there. We had already made the decision to delay MIDI out until Audulus 4, which would have meant the MIDI AUv3 effect would have been released then anyway too. We’ve been beta testing Audulus AUv3 for iOS and have run into a significant number of problems that must be fixed - enough that it warrants delaying it until the release of Audulus 4.Īudulus is uniquely difficult to fit into the AUv3 format, and we want to make sure that the release of the AUv3 is perfect out of the box, rather than half-working with the promise to improve it later. ![]() ![]() ![]() Other causes of congestive heart failure in dogs include: In this condition, the chambers of the heart become enlarged, which weakens the muscle walls so that they are unable to pump adequate amounts of blood to the body.Īs a result of either disease, fluid may back up into the lungs, making breathing difficult, or into the abdomen, giving the dog a pot-bellied appearance. Dilated cardiomyopathy is also a frequently observed cause of CHF in certain breeds of dogs. When valves of the heart degenerate they may fail to function properly, leading to an increased burden on the heart and eventual CHF. Though many conditions can lead to congestive heart failure in dogs, one of the more common causes is chronic valve disease. The heart is then unable to pump enough blood to the body, so fluid backs up, most often into the lungs, causing congestion –– hence the term congestive heart failure. As the disease increases in severity, these compensatory mechanisms become overwhelmed. When the heart starts to fail in its ability to pump enough blood, the body can usually compensate to ensure that tissues receive the blood and oxygen they need. It can be caused by a failure of the left side, right side, or both sides of the heart. Depending on the underlying cause, treatment can help reverse congestive heart failure, and medications are available to help relieve its symptoms.Ĭongestive heart failure is a broad medical term that means that a dog’s heart can’t deliver enough blood to his or her body.
